For patients who wish to replace missing teeth via non-invasive means, then dentures is another option to consider. Full or partial dentures can replace either a few teeth or full sets of teeth and are custom-made by our dentists at Gawler & Districts Dental Care to ensure an exact fit to your mouth.

Getting your dentures
If you opt for dentures, then the initial appointment will involve discussing the process to ensure you know what to expect before taking moulds of your gums and any existing teeth. This enables us to make made-to-measure dentures that will fit your mouth securely.
At the next appointment, you will then receive your dentures, which will be fitted and checked to ensure they’re comfortable, with any adjustments made as necessary. It will take a little while to get used to having your full or partial dentures in your mouth, but they can be removed as and when you wish and will allow for normal speaking, eating and drinking.
If you look after your dentures, they should last for many years to come, although adjustments will be necessary as your gums alter with age.
